When I was younger, my grandparents lived on a ranch in eastern Oregon, surrounded by 90 acres of canyon, forest, a golf course, and a beautiful pond. I remember growing up drinking sweet tea on their porch, listening to a mix of ’60s and ’70s music playing from a speaker disguised as a rock. They have since moved to my hometown, leaving many of those memories in the past.

Of all the things I’ve carried with me from this experience, learning to slow down and appreciate the past through music has been the most valuable. Some of my favorite artists and bands from that playlist are George Harrison, Led Zeppelin, Jim Croce, and Nick Drake. The genres include Folk Rock, Classic Rock, and Folk.
