Our penultimate episode is split into two distinct halves. The first is classic R2N: late-night atmospherica, tender torch balladry, and some majestic folk rock. The second half touches on space-age pop, Bollywood soundtrack, experimental synth/techno, and reverb-drenched gothicism. Put your feet up and let the Road to Nowhere take you away~

This installment of Tiger Cub Radio Bub commences with the inviting opener from the Mountain Goats’ album Beat the ChampĀ and revs up from there in to a whirlwind of styles and energies. And Woody Guthrie is there because Woody Guthrie is always there.

This week’s show is cold outside and warm inside, just like all of us this time of year. Beloved British folk, snowy pop reflections, and chilly modernity comprise our thematic triptych. Very few deep cuts or crackly 45s this week; just some pretty tunes to close your eyes to.

We’ve finally hit the big 50. To celebrate, I pulled a stack of the best finds from my time spent digging at the forever missed Belmont Records. Thanks for listening. <3 Forgive the bumbling intro. Lenny's hammond organ shreddin' is very distracting.
