Up this week: Echo Tides + Bonus Greek music
Anyone who knows me or has listened to this show before knows that I’m totally obsessed with listening to music from around the world, one of my favorites being Cambodian rock (Dengue Fever ily forever). I recently went on a deep dive into different modern Greek bands and discovered the song “Βροχή” by Echo Tides, in all it’s intoxicating electronic synth-pop. Today I’m doing a blind listen of the rest of that album “Στον δρόμο που φυτρώναν φράουλες” (“On the Street Where Strawberries Grow” according to Google Translate). Overall, I love their sound and unique album covers! At the end there’s a snippet from another Greek band, Mattise, I found and also liked. In the background: Me tiredly working on a paper!
