Another 2-piece, local hyper grinders Human Effluence, have been known to liquify brains with their rapid pounding snare blasts. Its guaranteed the floor will be a slippery mess from all the dead brain cells leaked from deaf ear canals, so make sure to wear hiking boots. Locals Villainous Temple and Hemorrhoid open the show. Last time I saw Hemorrhoid it was at a packed basement show in SE Portland. Everyone I talked to after their set described Hemorrhoid’s perverse noise as “a pain in the butt.”
