Welcome back to Left of the Dial, the only radio show “daring” enough to play Springsteen, Swans, Captain Beefheart, & KISS in the same playlist (more bands are available of course). Enjoy the write-ups below from radio host Chris-R, along with Spotify & YouTube links to stream the entirety of the playlists.   This episode […]

A mix of rainy day summer songs. Perhaps a bit of an elusive theme, but I did my best.

A continuous mix of vinyl while covering for The Cue. 4 Note: Unfortunately, the audio dropped out in the middle of the Bobbie Gentry track I played. I’ve edited it out and segued together the track before and prior.

Another all-vinyl edition of Static + Distance. Downbeat, rainy tunes for this dreary November day. Unfortunately, there was a ground issue, so you’ll notice a buzz on a couple tracks.

This week, no theme, but rather a series of songs that link together as the mix moves along. Songs about the past, the unchangeable and perspective. Photo: Théodore Géricault’s The Raft Of The Medusa. Click here to stream

Songs with guitars. Honoring the spirit of Guitar Shop. Photo: A trifecta of shredding. HAIM at MusicFestNW 2014. Photo Credit: Me.

Songs about the moon, observatories, gravity and more. Photo Credit: Niel Hayes
