On today’s show we passed on reviewing a new book, and instead listened to a personally restorative playlist. March is over but every month is disability awareness month when you’re disabled. As a disabled person, I have to constantly engage with my own limitations and internalized ablism, supporting yourself in an allistic and neurotypical society with kindness and grace is no easy task. So if you’re out there and feeling alone in your suffering, I’m just here to say you’re not alone. You deserve tenderness, care and accommodation.

Today’s playlist is curated from some of my favorite songs, new and old, songs that fill me with warmth and determination to live with ample generosity towards myself and to others, songs that inspire me to love myself more, songs that keep me alive.

Hope you enjoyed these favorite tunes; I’ll be back on the May 3rd, 17:00/5pm, to review Babel by R.F. Kuang for our next NOVEL FREQUENCY.
