Soundtrack Cinema Episode 20, June 2, 2023

Just a short review of The Muppets Movie for this week’s episodes. It was a franchise that I had grown to love since I was a child, so I didn’t have anything to say, but to go into details, the story is pretty much straightforward with a road trip where Kermit meets new friends along the way to Hollywood; since this is primarily an origin story of how the Muppets came together. But what keeps it strong is its funny writing and dialogue that makes you smile. And it’s the same with the music, characters, and tone. It’s an overall charming film that finds a way to make you happy; what else is there to say than give it a watch if you have or haven’t seen it in a while. So have a beautiful day, and on the next episode is the review of Cloudy with a chance of Meatball.
