Soundtrack Cinema Episode 1 January 6 2023
Written by Lady Cinema on January 6, 2023
My Name is Hermela, also soon to be known as Lady Cinema, and this has been the introduction of my show, Soundtrack Cinema, a show where Everyone can listen to music and songs from films of old and new from classics, underrated gems, or just great films to watch. Though I won’t be covering every song, I will play in one day. Due to how I often tend not to talk that much, I will pause the playlist now and then to discuss which music came from which film or my overall thoughts on the film of the day. For this episode, my first review and the only soundtrack that I have talked about and reviewed was Ryan Coogler’s Black Panther, and since Wakanda Forever is still in theaters, I thought It would be nice to discuss the first film to see how well it holds up. Though I praise the film a bit too much since there are some flaws within the film’s CGI effects and actions, I still believe that this was a great film to watch. Especially with the impact made by the late Chadwick Boseman, creating more heart to the film in its storytelling. There is a sense of beautiful representation alongside its themes and characters, the soundtrack and cinematography are gorgeous, and I believe I hold up well along with its sequel in making a significant impact in the franchise of the MCU.
I do hope to have a chance to revisit some films or give out new ones of each film with that one song next time on Soundtrack Cinema.
