In The Gutter #4: Interview with Misha Gehr
Written by Cameron Grow on December 8, 2021
My first Interview on the show was a blast. I acidentally forgot to turn on the right mic when we started so I ended up having to redub over my lines during the editing process. Every once in a while you’ll hear the original “Not studio Level” audio creep up but otherwise, it should be pretty smooth.
While talking with Misha Gehr, I had to costantly remind myself that I wasn’t just having a conversation with someone I was also interviewing them. I think the best interviewers are the ones that can not only get their subject/Guest talking but also build on what their guest is saying to continue the conversation. I’m gonna give myself a four out of five on that front, but the credit really goes to Misha who was able to take whatever I threw at them and performed double backflips with it. We talked so much that during the original broadcast I had to cut one of the songs so as not to go overtime again.

I’ve already set the groundwork to interview more people next term, and I only hope that they go as well as they did with Misha Gehr. You all should definitely go check out their publishing company Frontier Creative and then check out their creative Instagram for more content. Misha is a great artist whose talent could not be presented on radio and I look forward to seeing what they do next.
