The Rant Room: Episode 7

Written by on November 20, 2022

Welcome back to The Rant Room! Co-hosts Benji and Crow are back again with more fun mental health ramblings and great music for you all to enjoy.

Today’s episode dove into the topic of ADA Laws, both covering a brief history of what inspired the creation of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and describing what benefits disabled citizens are granted in their personal and public life. Crow led the discussion, going into personal anecdotes about their own experiences as a disabled person. We also described the current shortcomings of ADA requirements and how organizations cut corners with accommodations.

The Rant Room is one of the only KPSU shows playing music entirely off of vinyl, and today’s mix featured artists like alt-JVance Joy and Lord Huron.

Stay tuned for future episodes!
