“2015: The Ladies of Rock” (12.18.15)
Written by Joanna on December 18, 2015
Hey listeners.
2015 was definitely dynamic, but in subtle ways. Most of the artists I’ve come to appreciate after having hosted The Muse In Music this year were the ones I’ve had to dig deep to find. Granted, some of these names received their well deserved recognition as the year gained leverage, but it still took time.
That said, I’ve compiled a list of ladies who guts and sorrow made an impact on my listening habits, with the hopes of showcasing these discoveries in the weeks to come. Week one will be directed entirely on the ladies of rock, with folk and indie-electronic to follow as 2015 continues to count down.
Aside from everything, thanks for tuning in this past year.
