Evan James Benally Atwood (they/them) is a queer Diné photographer and artist born to the clans Ta’neeszahnii (Tangle clan) and Naakai dine’é (The Mexican Clan), residing in Portland, OR. They work passionately within their community to uplift and empower through music videos and documentation of artists, always inviting creativity to help cultivate positive changes in perspective. They are currently working on a documentary called An Invisible Mother, which aims to tell the story of resiliency of a local two spirit trans parent, fighting for time with their biological child. Evan comments, “This playlist has a lot of feminine energy ~ a self-reflection necessary carrying around a masculinized/privileged body. It is also about the love we show to ourselves, our desires, and ultimately having the boundaries to balance it out.” You can find Evan on Instagram @evanjamesbenallyatwood and their website http://www.evanjamesatwood.com/.
