“The Backside”, July 5, 2017: Host David Aboud
Written by David Aboud on July 5, 2017
Hi, everybody…welcome to the Wednesday edition of “The Backside”. The show mixes in some definite oldies, such as Boz Scaggs’ “Look What You’ve Done to Me”, from 1980. The show begins with an uptempo track from Mark Spiro–“My Devotion”, off his album “Devotion”. Following is a mix of uptempo songs alternating with some soft, love cuts. “In The Spotlight” feature artist, “Auras”–a band coming from Curitiba, Brazil, South America, provides the show with a good track, ” Out of Love”. Throw in some contemporary tracks provided by the band, “Work of Art”, some fantastic background piano on James Ingram’s “Someone Like You”, uptempo Cher with “Save Up all Your Tears”, and finishing the show with “Forever”, courtesy of the transcontinental collaboration of Robbie LaBlanc–an American born artist–and the Swedish rock sounds of Daniel Flores. “The Backside” closes with Kenny Loggins’ “Too Early For The Sun.
Hope you enjoy(ed) the show,
Your Host of “The Backside”,
David Aboud
