Echo Pearl Varsity! A local band in Portland, these guys are bringing the magic back to jamming out. I first ran into Sleevi, the sax player and part vocalist in the band, at a bus stop on belmont. As we got to talking, I figured it would be great to have them into KPSU to do an in studio and interview on my show.

They really came thru the other night! They are a fusion of funky jazz and old rock which literally makes you want to get up and dance. On one of their last songs be played they jammed out for a good 4 minutes extra which really reminded me of the Allman Brothers or Lotus when they get to just vibing out and jamming together. These boys were a super fun group to hang out with and BS a little on air.
