Left of the Dial: “All Killer, No Filler”
Written by Chris-R on May 3, 2018
Welcome back to Left of the Dial, where we remember that Elvis is king. Left of the Dial host Chris-R plays some deep cuts from the classic age of vinyl and beyond, and this week we make a pitstop to “The Zoo” and find a few animal-esque bands along the way (Eagles, The Korgis, Scorpions, and “Paper Tiger” by Beck.) This episode’s song selection has plenty of great extra goodies from big artists we all know and love (Earth, Wind & Fire, John Lennon, Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac) and some curiosities from more unexpected artists including a groovy Funk cycle from Bill Withers, a contemplative finger-plucked acoustic guitar passage from Kenny Loggins (formerly K-Log), a secretly acclaimed masterwork by Swedish Pop gurus ABBA and more! So strap in and prepare for an episode of ALL KILLER, NO FILLER… Courtesy of Left of the Dial.
Every episode of Left of the Dial is uploaded to Soundcloud and Spotify playlists for your listening pleasure.
