Blossom, Portland local R&B soul singer and producer joined Learning to Grow with DJ Mkulima (The Farmer) last night! We had a chance to discuss the blooming of Blossom, her inspirations, and some of the deeper meaning and intentions of her works.

Blossom began her music career at a very young age, having roots in Trinidad and Tobago, her family is full of musicians which inspired her growth as she has bloomed into Blossom. Her first live performance was a steel drum performance, and since then her musical career has continued to evolve into one of the most loved Portland local vocal artists! With notable performances including an appearance on Jimmy Fallon with Amine’, Blossom is notable for her strong empowering voice bringing uplifting messages of encouragement to her listeners and community. Working with EYRST, Blossom and her label-mates have some community building, music and arts centric, events coming up here in Portland.
