Last in Line Episode 2

Written by on March 10, 2022

This episode’s playlist came from the bottom 25 songs of the Billboard Hot 100 for the week of March 28, 1992. Each and every song was oh, so ’90s, whether it be the lasting influence of ’80s heavy metal or the steady resurgence of R&B and Hip Hop. The standout tracks I recommend giving a listen are: How I Could Just Kill a Man by Cypress Hill, You Think You Know Her by Cause & Effect, and You Are the One by Chris Cuevas.

The week of March 28, 1992 was rather uneventful but did have a few notable moments. The space shuttle Atlantis set off from Cape Canaveral to study global warming, marking the shuttle’s 11th mission. Pakistan won its first Cricket World Cup in Melbourne, Australia, defeating England by 22 runs.
