Last in Line Episode 11

The Billboard Hot 100 Chart used for this week’s episode was that of July 2, 1983. The ’80s tend to make my favorite playlists, and this one doesn’t fall short. Filled with familiar, upbeat synth and somber, easy listening tracks, this was a good week. We had some very famous names as well, most notably Michael Jackson. Check out the playlist or recording below to check it out.
Friday, July 1, the game Dragon’s Lair was released to arcade centers in the US. The game cost 50 cents per play. Saturday, July 2, was the 90th Wimbledon Women’s Tennis Championship, where Navratilova beat Jaeger. Lastly, on June 29, jockey Angel Cordero won his 5000th race, making him the 4th jockey to do so.
