The House of Sarcasm #20 – Back to School Special – Local Portland Bands

Autumn has started, and classes at PSU start on Monday, so today I played a selection of songs from Portland bands to fit a “Back To School” theme of my own sarcastic imagination. Hope it all makes sense to you. Welcome back, welcome new students, and here’s to a groovy fall term!

Here are some upcoming events featuring bands I’ve played on this show:

The Focke Wolves / The Punchers / The Viles, Thurs. Sept. 27 at Twilight Café & Bar

HANG ’18! Surf Rock Party with King Ghidora, Don & the Quixotes, Outer Space Heater, and the Apollo 4,  Fri. Sept. 28 at World Famous Kenton Club

Goodbye, Sunshine Fest with Jack London Trio, the Decliners, Slutty Hearts, Pistol Whiplash, Advisory, and the Punchers, Sat. Sept. 29 at the Hawthorne Hideaway

Thank you for listening.  Please click the link below to listen to today’s show.  See you next week at 11 am!
