NEW MUSIC TO SUFFER TO: Soundtrack to a Breakup

Written by on April 10, 2018

Join your forlorn host on a sonic journey of songs discovered or released within the last year.

This is breakup music. My intention was to showcase new music discoveries. But halfway through the show, I realized this was actually the soundtrack to a breakup.

The past year has been horrendous, emotionally, romantically. I had to cut off a person I deeply loved because of toxic behaviors. A person I still love.

These are songs of hurt, hope, and hopelessness.

I still miss you, S. Still grateful for everything you taught me, made me feel, good and bad. My life changed in countless positive ways after you entered it.

Yet, I’m moving on. And I’ll never forget.

I forgive, I really do.

But I’m not forgetting.
