Where did the time go? Who cares, listen to this, get high on time and forget all about it. Music soothes time’s control, and this episode of Groove Session gets right to the heart of that soothing. Featuring tunes from George Duke, Jaco Pastorius, The Kilimanjaro Dark Jazz Band, John Klemmer and more from that golden age where jazz, soul, funk, psychedelia, rock n’roll and blues form to produce a soulful yet edgy, if not trippy experience called the 10970s. This episode spans beyond this decade into the one immediately preceding it and every other one after. Above all this episode gets you high on time, so enjoy the experience with some hot tea or coffee in the morning, or while riding your bike in the morning or while joy riding your car. 52 minutes of soulful and jammy tunes, but always kickin’ groovy, it’s time to get high on time!

Groove Session airs live every Sunday from 6pm to 7pm on kpsu.org – Portland’s College Radio. If you have suggestions or comments, please shoot me an email. Thanks for listening and supporting the best free-form college radio station in the world!
