Summer Solstice June 16-19, 2017, What The Festival returns for its 6th edition of world-class electronic and live music!
What The Festival weaves love into the souls of the Seeds sewn into the Earth of Wolf Run Ranch ~ with nurturing community care these Seeds sprout and Flower each June on these fertile grounds nestled in Oregon’s lush Forests.
The founders of What The Festival had a chance to share their love and passions for What The Festival and why exactly they sew these Seeds on Wolf Run on Learning to Grow with DJ Mkulima (The Farmer) last March 2016.

“What The Festival’s devout family of music fans, art lovers, and all around goofballs may rejoice as passes are now on sale for the 2017 event. Also, in an effort to share the magic with more people than ever What The Festival has also launched a payment plan option for its standard passes and upgraded OMG packages.
What The Festival stands as a cornerstone of Oregon’s forward-thinking electronic music landscape and a leading curatorial force in the West Coast festival scene. It is this dedication to the more authentic shades of electronic coupled with the totally unique environment of the privately owned 250-acre Wolf Run Ranch that gives WTF its singular vibe. Past years have seen attendees splashing around to Thomas Jack at the pool stage, dancing in front of a fire breathing dragon to Claude VonStroke, grooving in the grass at the full-production mainstage for ODESZA, or discovering new music, comedy, and performances at the eight stages throughout the majestic adult playground.
Beyond the music, festival-goers are treated to a full range of sights and activities from dance classes under a canopy of Doug Fir trees, to hopping between glowing lily pads and giant jellyfish in the Illuminated Forest, to sprawling out in the Hookah Lounge or exploring the bevy of permanent art structures throughout the constantly evolving art garden of Wolf Run Ranch.
It’s the natural wonder of What the Festival that sets the tone for this distinctly Pacific Northwest experience. Defined by awe-inspiring views of the Cascades, wooded terrain and a temperate climate, the ranch offers an idyllic setting for playing, camping and relaxing with friends and family, new and old. It is this perfect canvas for interaction and joy that fosters one of the most loving, tight-knit communities on the global festival circuit.”
