Saint Mesa is twenty one year old Danny McCook, a self taught musician who recently made his debut in the fall of 2016, and is now playing music festivals such as BottleRock and Sasquatch. His song “Jungle” currently has over 1.5 million streams on Spotify, and the artist is currently signed to Interscope Records and is working on his soon to be released debut album.

KPSU caught up with Saint Mesa after his set at Sasquatch for an interview and some quick portrait shots. Danny talked with us about the early beginnings to his interest in music, how Saint Mesa began and quickly grew, his experience touring and playing festivals, working on his album, and more.
