Roots-Reggae Mix
Written by Lilwami on March 7, 2016
One of Lilwami’s favorite genres of music would have to be reggae. His musical background has a high interest in reggae not only for the musicality, but also the loving and peaceful messages the songs bring to one another. Rooting from the country of Jamaica with Rastafarian-ism, reggae has spread widely from the legendary days of Bob Marley to current bands/artists today such as Matisyahu, Rebelution, and Major Lazer. In this collective mix, there’s a wide variety of roots-reggae songs from such bands as UB40, Ziggy Marley, Israel Vibration, and Alpha Blondy. If you’re a reggae lover, this mix is for you. So sit back, grow your dreadlocks, and enjoy the peaceful sounds of roots-reggae music.
