OK GO | FFO: Modest Mouse, Death Cab For Cutie, The Bravery, The Fratellis

With support from Paper Pilots, OK GO returns to Portland’s Roseland Theater to a sold out show on September 8. The show is all ages, and doors open at 7pm with music from Paper Pilots starting at 8pm. More info can be found on the Roseland’s event page.

OK GO is a band that’s best known for their intricate and high production music videos. Whether it be treadmill dancing, optical illusions, zero gravity, etc. any time the band releases a video it quickly becomes one of the top trending and shared youtube videos. Behind the videos are a group of incredibly talented and creative guys. Their songwriting and music is capable of standing and shining on it’s own, but the group’s video and live theatrics elevate the band to new levels. While it’s unlikely the band will be able to incorporate things like zero gravity, and their new touring set-up is unpredictable, in the past they have proven through countless sold out shows that they are as fun live as their music videos are. In the past they’ve incorporated the use of video graphics, colors, confetti, lights, and genuine showmanship. After years of touring and releasing music, OK GO remains to be a band that still genuinely enjoys performing to their energetic and loyal fanbase. The band thrives on fun, and has the most fun when they are on stage. OK GO is guaranteed to be a great show, and set to be an incredibly fun experience for everyone at this sold out venue.
