Where I Come From-part 3 : a running history

Written by on May 26, 2015

My eighth episode is the third installement of my personal history as related through sonic landmarks and sign posts, and the associated commentary of its recollection. A veritable musical timemachine. In this third entry to a rather long story, we are looking at 1980. Which for me meant a return to the deserts of Northern New Mexico. The crossing from the 4th to the 5th grades. Rollerskating, and new venues of exposure to music. The packaging is noticed, but it’s still and will always be at its heart, all about the story. On a personal note regarding the present, I had a minor dumpster fire in the studio this morning. I forgot there the cross fader on the mixer existed and had accidentally switched it over to the channel I wasn’t using. HEY WHERE’D THE MUSIC GO?!?!?  Ah-ha! A simple case of user error, it’s only my second full month, I’m sure there will be more mistakes to make.
