Nouveau pour moi deux (hour 2)
Written by Agent 47 on August 27, 2017
Nouveau I know, I know. I have a story about cab driving to finish, and I fully intend, plan, am truly inspired to do so … however. This is the first show I’ve been able to streamcast in about a month, due to maintenance and renovations down at the University. Nouveau Most of these changes were/are taking place down in the offices of Student Media in the sub basement of Smith Student Union where our station offices, DJ booth, production booth are all located. So, Nouveau while the renovations were taking place. The administration in it’s infinite wisdom, took away everyone’s access to that portion of the building. We couldn’t even get in. Then, as things were supposed to be finishing up, the final painting of our interior space got postponed as our offices were used for storage while they painted all the other offices first. Nouveau Word on the street is they wanted to keep us out even longer to paint our space, but our delightful Station Manager somehow got us our access back! Nouveau So this has been the first Sunday on which I could broadcast my little dumpster fire in almost a month, and it was fun to be back! That’s why I’m writing this posting instead of continuing my story of an American dream that too a serious detour.
Nouveau This week freshly webcast episode is a celebration of music new to my personal collection. One of the new additions is actually a babe released to the world at large just two days ago. The seventh studio album from QOTSA Villains. I also recently picked up two other QOTSA albums, so the second hour was all Josh Homme and friends. Nouveau
The 7 o’clock hour was highlighted by tracks from the recently acquired last release from Radiohead A Moon Shaped Pool, and a replacement copy of the touchstone album from Florida rocker Tom Petty. 1979’s Damn the Torpedoes. Nouveau
