SADLY THE BANDS HAVE CANCELED THIS SHOW. I BELIEVE THEY ARE STILL GOING TO BE PLAYING AT THE BAMBOO GROVE TONIGHT. I WILL BE ROCKING EXPERIMENTAL RECORDINGS INSTEAD.

Saturday, July 30th from Noon to 2 PM Pacific Time, we present a special two hour edition of What’s This Called? with live musical explorations from the drone/beat/vocal intonations of Northwesterners Thee Source ov Fawnation and instrumental/beat/glitchdom of Oaktown, California to Seattle transplant Arsenlives!

Thee Source ov Fawnation will be somewhat familiar to What’s This Called? listeners from their two live appearances within the pure drone incarnations of Paintings for Animals. Arsenlives is making his circuit bent debut on the program. Both acts are on tour together including a gig later the same night at the Bamboo Grove Salon in Portland!
