This Saturday (2/22), the band Bone Thugs-N-Harmony will be coming to the Roseland Theater. They are an American rap group that formed in Cleveland, Ohio back in the early 1990s. The members in the group originally consisted of Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, Layzie Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh-N-Bone. The group was signed to Ruthless Records in late 1993 when they debuted with their song, “Creepin On Ah Come up”. Now the current members are Krayzie Bone, Flesh-N-Bone, Layzie Bone and Wish Bone, but have now changed their names to Krayzie Boneless, Flesh-N-Boneless, and Wish Boneless. At first, Layzie Bone was not on board with the new name change, but now the rap group goes by Boneless Thugs-N-Harmony.
The band became a big hit with their breakout single “Thuggish Ruggish Bone”. Since then they have had a number of hits such as “Crossroads,” “I Tried,” “First of the month,” and “Look into my eyes”.
“I came to know the band through my parents who love R&B and rap music. Growing up I listened to them and other rap artists in the 90’s,” said Diana Mares. She is currently a graduating senior and goes by DJ Mars on her radio show, “Hello, my name is” with her co-host Dj Balthazaar.
Tickets are now on sale at the Roseland, this is a 21+ event. Add Bone Thugs-N-Harmony on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter!
Sophie and Diana will be attending this concert, so be on the lookout and say “hi” if you see them there! Listen on their radio show, “Hello, my name is” where they will review the concert. Tune in on Tuesdays from 6-7 pm.
