YES, IT’S TRUE. Allison Weiss has a brand new album out on SideOneDummy Records. And it’s amazing.
This week we get to take a special look into the album with track commentary from Allison herself. If you have ever wondered how that mysterious, mischievous group, “The East Side Scooter Babies” was born– today is the day you find out. If you have ever wondered anything at all about AW’s new album– today is the day you (might) find out.
Allison is heading out on a full band tour with Mal Blum, Winter, and Kid In The Atticopening. If you’ve never seen Allison live, let me be the first (and never the last) to tell you what a good time it is. I once traveled 350 miles (one way) just to see her play for about 20 minutes– she is that kind of good. So get out to see her in Portland– October 20th at Analog Café— 7pm, 12$, all ages. (And the rest of the US and Canada on other days this fall– she is not Santa Claus after all.)
