“If people want to see pictures of us swimming and hanging out in hot tubs, they can follow our hashtag #swimacrosstheworld on Instagram… Our long term goal is to transition out of music and into a pool-centered travel blog.” – Ethan Converse, KPSU Q&A with Rose Quartz
In the spring of 2015, Maureen Ochs and I (Lanny Lieu) went off to Treefort Music Festival in Boise, Idaho and made some new friends. Among these friends were the members of Denver’s sultry synth-pop band, Rose Quartz. After a couple months of on-and-off again touring, they finally made it to Portland, Oregon while on a west coast run with Russian artist, Tesla Boy. Before their last show of 2015, Rose Quartz graciously agreed to do an in-studio at KPSU, performing mostly unreleased material from their forthcoming album. You can stream the live session below.
For more on Rose Quartz, you can find them on Facebook, SoundCloud, and Instagram.
