Celebrate 20 Years of What's This Called?

What’s This Called began 20 years ago sometime in the summer of 1993 at KAOS 89.3 FM in Olympia WA and it lived there for ten years. In 2005 it came back to life in Portland OR at http://kpsu.pathoslitmag.com/current_wp/

Saturday, August 31st, 2013 from Noon to 1 PM Pacific Time I will be celebrating the 20 years of experimental music, drone, noise, post-punk, and beauty.

I have on tap classic WTC material to play from Sun Ra, Sonic Youth, Melvins, Jandek, Swans, Add N to X, Autechre, Ramsey Lewis, and Paco Jones. This is of course a small sampling of the variety of strange audio I’ve unleashed in twenty years of this program.
