B-REEL

Written by Nina Biel on June 9, 2018

According to the General Adaption Syndrome theory of stress, I’m totally burnt out. But, I hope you’re all managing, and there’s always music to dance to and make things better.

Bass Drum of Death just came out with their newest song in four years, “Just Business”, so I played that along with some Australian garage rock. Broncho, The Paranoyds, and King Tuff all played shows in Portland this week, so I played some of their songs. Also talked about the great Portland music scene and how fun the house shows this weekend were. Wrapped up with some soothing orchestral Howl’s Moving Castle.

For this week, and the rest of your life, remember to change your perception of the stress you’re experiencing to change your body’s response to it. And, prioritize the things in life that really matter for the memories you’ll cherish <3
