An Interview with Night Riot’s Rico Rodriguez

Written by J-Bøp on October 23, 2016

Rico Rodriguez, the drummer of Night Riots, called in to KPSU for an exclusive interview.

Night Riots just released their latest album Love Gloom, on Friday October 21. The album is incredible and a great follow up to their past EP’s Howl and Young Lore. We discuss tracks off the album, and the uniqueness of the albums recording process. Love Gloom was recorded live, with multiple passes and recordings done, with the best chosen for the album. Little processing and production was done to the tracks, something that is incredibly rare in today’s music industry. We also talk touring, and Rico gives KPSU an exclusive preview of what’s in store for the band. Night Riots will be releasing a few Halloween songs on Halloween. Look out on the bands social media for more information, and links to the tracks.
