Tonight on the program, Gary Numan was our "guest" as we played a few select interviews along with some totally awesome Numan tracks.
Last night on Sing Blue Silver, Adam Ant was our focus as I weaved together music and interviews to form a narrative of his professional life circa '78-'85.

Tonight's show focused on one of the preeminent 80's synth bands, Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark or OMD.
And rest assured, the focus is firmly on the early stuff, including 3 live tracks from August of '79 from the Leigh Rock Festival!
So, I've decided to change up my format on Sing Blue Silver yet again. Each week I'll focus on a couple of 1980s bands and alternate interviews with their music with as many b-sides, remixes, and live cuts thrown in as possible.
Tonight...the debut for this new format...the bands that Vince Clarke has touched over the years:
Depeche Mode, Yazoo, and Erasure.
So, I've been away from Sing Blue Silver for a while now. I hope you've enjoyed the subs filing in for me (big thanks to DJ Tage and DJ Anne) but now I've returned to Sundays at 6pm.
Tonight, a special show, focusing on the finest hip hop/rap/breakin' music from the 1980s.
