She Shreds

Written by on May 15, 2015

Despite the technical misunderstanding during the first ten or so minutes, this week’s webisode of The Muse of Music features an eclectic group of women who, quite frankly, shred. The theme of this show came about from my obsession with Portland’s very own She Shreds magazine and an unnecessarily long drive back from the armpit known as Northern Nevada. Never again.

Some of the songs included are preludes to what will very be 2015’s best albums. Here are some information to remember:

[SONG #2: Honestly Do Yr Worst] Joanna Gruesome’s sophomore album, Peanut Butter, will be released May 19th (so soon!) via Slumberland Records.
[SONG #7: You Disappear] Having spent most of this past winter in Los Angeles recording with Ty Segall, Seattle quartet La Luz announced this morning that they’ll be dropping their next album, Weirdo Shrine, August 7th through Hardly Art. YES!

Normally I have a lot more to give you in terms of new music and what to expect, but this is all I’ve got this week. Enjoy the rush of high octane and top quality shredding.
