Filled in for Whitney. Played a show from Ryan Adams. Real fine performance from '07. Started off the hour with a couple tracks from Krista Polvere's debut album, Here Be Dragons. I discovered her music not too long ago, and was totally enchanted. Do check out her music. Turns out she and Ryan Adams collaborated quite a bit for this record and her songwriting in general.

We were so lucky to have Weinland here for the hour. Weinland is finally home from their first US tour, and Portland is welcoming them back with open arms. They will be headlining a welcome-back party along with local fav's A Weather and Norfolk & Western Saturday, June 28 at the Aladdin. They filled the hour with some of the most incredible, breathtaking music Portland has to offer. The guys had a good time, and had some hilarious stories from the road. Download this.
