Lock it in and rip the knobs out.
I am back in Portland after a week's vacation....and it's 103 degrees outside!!
Tonight's The Brent Show will be hot. Not quite 103 degrees hot, but hot nonetheless.
Brent is on Vacation. He'll return next week, we promise...here's some music to fill the void...from the legendary KPSU auto mix archives...
I won't be broadcasting next week....so get your fill this week!!
Tonight's The Brent Show is fueled by the lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and onion I purchased this morning at the Farmer's Market in downtown Portland, Oregon. I do not usually eat that many vegetables in a week, so I might keel over. Stay tuned.
Go for a walk with your portable music player and listen to the download-able The Brent Show. It will make your teeth whiter.
Uh, sorry folks. My playlist disappeared. I had the first 40 minutes logged here...and POOF. Oh well.
You could fry an egg on the sidewalk here in sunny Portland, Oregon today! Better yet, tonight's The Brent Show will be so hot that you will be able to fry an egg on it!!
Tonight's show will feature music from the soundtrack "Joe Strummer: The Future Is Unwritten", which is a new one for us at KPSU. Also, PDX Pop Now 2008 is in the studio and will get air time this evening.
Due to the recent health scare, no tomatoes will be served during this evening'12 Miless The Brent Show.
Portland, Oregon junkbox blues band Hillstomp rambunctiously rocked everyone in attendance at their show last night at Satyricon. Thus, tonight's episode of The Brent Show will start off with Hillstomp! Also listen for bands such as Wilco, Blonde Redhead, The Raconteurs, and Sun Kil Moon.
The Starlight Parade winds around the streets of downtown Portland, Oregon this evening at 9 o'clock. I suggest bringing along a radio and listening to--oh I don't know--THE BRENT SHOW (which also starts at 9 pm) while watching it.
The initials for my radio program are "The B.S.". That pretty much sums up what you will get if you listen to The Brent Show.
Tune in for great music from local bands Mattress and Dirty Martini, as well as great music from non-local acts such as Andrew Bird, Tegan and Sara, and ???
Today in Portland it was hot. Luckily, it is cool like the other side of the pillow at the KPSU studios.
Tonight's radio broadcast will feature local all stars like Viva Voce, The Prids, Leigh Marble, and Hillstomp. There will be all stars from other places on the show tonight as well.
Vote for The Brent Show as your next president of the United States of America. Sure, The Brent Show is weak on foreign policy and domestic policy for that matter....but the music would be cool.
I had two slices of cheese pizza just prior to hosting this evening's The Brent Show. I feel sleepy.
Tonight's The Brent Show will not, however, be sleepy. Instead, it will be a slice of pizza with many excellent toppings including: Visqueen, Crooked Fingers, Tegan and Sara, and Talkdemonic.
It is cold out there tonight. Let The Brent Show warm you up this evening.
Listen for great artists such as Tegan and Sara, Richard Buckner, Hayden, and The Handsome Family. Also, I have two mostly unexciting stories to tell about my trip to the studio tonight. One story involves Chelsea Clinton, the other a red t-shirt. Wow. I can't wait to tell these stories.
p.s. I believe the studio computer is still down, meaning there will be no set list. Sorry. But, the two stories will almost be entertaining!
The Brent Show is still proudly Made In The USA!
No playlist tonight because of technical difficulties. You can, however, enjoy the music anyway.
