Psychedelic Renaissance

  • Saturday 8-9pm
Genre:
Psyche & Garage Rock

The Psychedelic Renaissance, now in its 11th year, is hosted by Cosmic Jim, part time hippie & full time rocker. We play acid rock, acid folk, heavy prog, garage, sixties punk and obscure rock, as well as the world's rarest psych records. The idea is to expose listeners to material that is hard to fins, such as limited pressings and records that should have been played on the radio back in the day, but weren't.

We take requests and always encourage guests to bring rare vinyl in to melt the minds of the unwary. Free your inner hippie, tune in for an audio-sugarcube.

Peace Out / Rock On

Hey man. I've listened to a few of your shows, you play awesome stuff. I definitely notice some similarities to what I play. I would totally be down to share some music. You should send me your email address and I can share a couple samples of some stuff that I transferred from vinyl. I collect alot of 45s and LPs. And yeah, I absolutely love the Creation of Sunlight LP. I played a track from it on my first show. I'm really in to that west coast hammond organ psych sound. My email is caseyhardmeyer@gmail.com. I can't quite find a link to your email but if you leave me a comment on my show's page with your email address I'll send you some stuff and vice versa.

TOAST MACHINE!!

Hello Cosmic Jim -

We - being the two gentlemen of Toast Machine - would like to thank you for a rocking radio show.
Also, this Saturday - March 31st - we will be in Portland at Ground Kontrol arcade (511 NW Couch Street) where we will be rocking the Video Game Arcade world with Wax Edison and Frank (the one man analog trio.)

If you could play the Carpal Tunnel Song off of Toast Machine's CD "Rock Wattage" or drop a word about the show, we will be forever grateful!

Thanks,
-gio
