Review:

Like many compilation albums the first disc usually is heavier on the earlier years while the second album focuses more on the later years. With that said I believe the first album highlights there better years, although as a whole the two disc set is a very nice and wide representation of there successful decades of rock. Personally, some of my favorites were omitted but that is a realization with any "compilation" especially a band that stretches so many years.

A great pull out book filled with many candid photos and stories of and from the guys.

Review:

And on the 8th day, God said "Let there be massive riffage in the Psychedelic Trance" and S.U.N. Project were born.

It's hard to believe that S.U.N. Project have been banging their anthemic version of Metal Acid Trance for 13 years and 10 albums. I have always been a fan of the over-the-top energy that builds the S.U.N. Project world and I am so very happy that they have just released their most amazingly fun and exciting album since Macrophage back in 1998.

UBER SICK, DUDE.

Format rolls from jammy playlist to music history show, depending on how much time (how lazy I am) I've had to put it all together. If you have a band you want me to do "six degrees of musical separation" with, just comment! Or email! Or call the station at 12:30! If someone doesn't pick up, they might have been on air, so call again.

PEACE OUT.

Review:

This is one of the best live shows i have ever been to. First is started Slow with the two opening bands, Kandi Coated and Totimoshi. Kandi Coated was a 4 man punk band who were very mediocre and Totimoshi was a hardcore punk band with 3 people. Totimoshi was very slow and draining with a screamo-esque simger and i was counting the seconds untill they finished. They finished and i was excited because i knew that thew next band has one of the best live performances i have seen in my short time on this earth. I saw them at the warped tour a few years back and the lead singer Spider man leaped off of the speakers onto the barrier am knocked it over on to a woman standing there watching the band. She got up and was fine but he felt so bad and dedicated the whole set to her and probably gave her a free t-shirt or something. When they started i was peeing in my pants with excitement. And sure enough the lead singer was all over the place and jumping on things and he full on jumped over the drum kit, it was awesome. After they got done the best metal band in existance right now came out, VALIENT THORR. They Rocked my socks off so hard they started to peel my shirt off as well. The lead singer, Valient Himself, Was all over the place too and would ramble on inbetween songs followed by the phrase "You Know What Im Talkin About?!" and the whole croud Screamed. It was all around awesome.

Is This Music?

Genre:
Everything
on KPSU Program Schedule Sunday 12-1pm.

Is this Music? is a radio show On KPSU 1450 AM that defies the laws of nature and sound, conversely the sounds of nature and the nature of sound, space and even, time. The forces at work behind this epic eclipse of noise are more mighty than even the mightiest sword and dwarf the combined magical powers of Ronnie James Dio and JRR Tokken

Review:

Compilations are, generally, a hit-or-miss kind of format. Gimmicks abound, and one good band is generally featured amongst a larger pool of bland and uninteresting groups that the label is trying to push. That is why the Hyped To Death label (hyped2death.com) has fixed the problems of the past: they issue CDs and CDRs of rare D.I.Y. bands from the late ‘70’s and early ‘80’s by bands that you’ve probably never heard of, but are just as good as the ones you have.
