So many the artists central to Shambhala and their history returned to the home to spread and embrace the Shambhalove. DJ Mkulima had a chance to catch up with two of these farmily members, Lion-S and Mat The Alien. Although not defined by, the ongoing wildfire close to Salmo Ranch added to the drama of the festival. With an official evacuation notice from the festival organizers the Saturday of the festival for an early end on Sunday morning the whole family put on their best rain dance Saturday night in an effort to keep the Shambhalove moving well into the early morning of Sunday and Monday. Saturday night was full of emotions and everyone danced away the night like it was their last night on Earth. Sunday morning something special took place, a few sacred rain drops sprinkled from the heavens, rejuvenating the ground below. With the rain falling, Sunday was saved and huge sigh of relief, hugs all around, and another night of all-night-dancing began.
