Praying To The Aliens

Written by Blakbeard on December 29, 2016

The Fermi Paradox is hardly so; to an enlightened consciousness, the solution seems self-evident. Roddenberry and Coon codified the Prime Directive, enshrined it in canon. And yet, isn’t it blindingly obvious that a Kardashev Type Zero civilization is of little interest to anyone out there? Furthermore, we should be grateful for our insignificance, lest new cookbooks be written in the vein of “To Serve Man”.

Reality notwithstanding, I, too, have turned my eyes to the skies and wished for a low-swinging chariot. Prayer is for suckers, and faith is a four-letter word. Imagination, though, is famously more important than knowledge… said the man whose equations graced humanity with world-destroying powers.

In the current Kali yuga, intelligent life has yet to evolve. It remains to be seen if the Holocene Mass Extinction Event is recursive, annihilating the very species from which the phenomenon emerged.

Dr. Yo’s Magic Lantern is not for everyone. Discontinue use and consult your doctor or witch doctor if you experience fatigue, nausea, or ennui.
