Fresh (ish) out of the studio oven
Written by Agent 47 on August 15, 2016
This is Agent 47, Fresh and once again I am posting old shows in an all around push to get my show posts up to real time. This show was stream-broadcast on the 17th of May, 2016.
And now on this the 16th of August it is being presented for download or immediate listening through this site Fresh that you are reading as we speak. Speak?! What the hell am I talking about? I’m typing and you’re; whomever you are, are reading. That is by definition NOT speech, or discourse. This episode which I’ve titled Fresh (ish) Out of the Studio Oven, is simply a way of forcing myself to get out of my playlist comfort zone, and open the doorway to some legitimately “new” music. The title of this show concept will vary, but the kernel of ideation will remain the same. Fresh New releases. Occasionally I will put a spin on it in the form of new additions to my personal library. This episode in particular is focused on the former, with a time of release cap at 2 years (if I remember correctly, which I very possibly may not). The last track listed on the playlist is not played in its entirety due to show time-slot constraints.
As I type this, I am midway through watching the 2nd season of Daredevil. I have put off getting back to this episode I stopped on (ep. 7) it is halfway through the Electra story arc and as much as I understand the purposeful insertion of fallibility in Marvel Heroes; well of any heroes for that matter, Fresh it still isn’t something I want to watch after I’ve begun to become emotionally invested in the characters. It is analogous to watch a friend spiral out of control in the throes of addiction. It can just be hard to watch someone continually make the same mistakes or perpetuate lies or secrets to those he holds closest. It reminds of how it’s been feeling to finish up the Odyssey of Heisenberg. Fresh
