Hailing from Long Beach, CA folk duo Bearcoon perform an acoustic set in the KPSU studio. If you combine Janis Joplin, Indigo Girls, and some funky indie-folk music you might get something that sounds kinda like Bearcoon.
The band PASS brought great 90s style alt/grunge with a bit of modern indie rock in there too. Get your angst filled headband fix with these guys. Flannel shirt optional. This is Portland not Seattle after all. Bonus points for the cinder block weighted kick drum though.
