The Irregular Frequencies video archives

A Superhero Named Tony's picture

There's a lot going on at Irregular Frequencies Headquarters, the central office which serves everybody's favorite Tuesday night at 11 PM radio show. First is the issue of sights to match the sound. Given my unwillingness to fact check this statement, I can confidently say that this is the first time in history that anybody has been able to SEE a radio show. I'm not sure what to call this new combination of sight and sound, so I invented the new word "telecast." It comes from the Latin "cast," which means a list of actors in a play, as in "broadcasting live on AM 1450." You see, each broadcast is both wide (i.e. broad) in it's format, and made possible by a large group of players. The other part of the word, "tele," is reffering to every listener's need to "tell a friend."

Try not to let your senses become overwhelmed by this extra sensory dimension. Instead sit back, relax, and enjoy this video of Dat'r performing Yellow Cake live on KPSU's Irregular Frequencies:

Due to the inability to imbed objects here, I can only provide you with this link. Go ahead and give it a good click.

One week earlier, Brian Whitson and the Night Wolves performed a few songs.

Again, I can only provide a link.

Also worth mentioning is Alela Diane's live set in January. I was hosting from the floor because it was being pre-recorded for later broadcast, so you get to seee me awkwardly realize that I'm on camera and hop out of frame in the first 30 seconds.

Here's the link.

All these videos have been made possible by Vincent Caldoni, who logged many tedious hours sitting in front of a computer screen in order to make them available. You can see more Irregular Frequencies footage, as well as a few other videos he's made available at his youtube page.
